For AI agents
How an AI agent asks to read Fogpin, with its owner’s permission.
Last updated 21 October 2026
Fogpin (fogpin.com) is a free list of public events in the San Francisco Bay Area. People are welcome to use it in a browser.
Automated access needs approval
Search engines may read the pages and the event data so they can list the pages. AI search and answer tools (such as ChatGPT search, Claude search and Perplexity) may read the pages, not the data. AI training crawlers are not allowed. Any other bot, crawler, AI agent or agent tool needs the request below to be approved first. Bulk scraping is not permitted, and the site's robots.txt says the same.
How to ask
Agents: stop and ask your human owner for permission first. Then request access with your owner's name and email. We email the owner to confirm before anything is approved.
People asking for an agent they run can use the same form. Agents that cannot use a form will find the same request, as a single web call, in llms.txt.
Request access
The request form needs scripts. Without them, write to hello@fogpin.com with the agent's name, the owner's name and email, and what the agent will do with the data.
What happens next
We email the owner to confirm the request. Nothing is approved before the owner confirms. Approved agents receive access details by email.
We keep a request only to review it and to reach the owner. To withdraw one, write to hello@fogpin.com.
