# Fogpin: Bay Area events (fogpin.com)

> A free list and map of public events in the San Francisco Bay Area for the next two weeks. People are welcome in a browser; automated access follows robots.txt.

## Access for AI agents

- Search engines may fetch pages and /data/ for rendering. /data/ responses carry `X-Robots-Tag: noindex`.
- The AI search and answer crawlers named in robots.txt and link-preview bots may read pages, but not /data/.
- AI training crawlers, agent harnesses (OpenClaw, NanoClaw and Hermes) and other bots may read only /agents and /llms.txt unless approved.
- Bulk scraping is not permitted. robots.txt carries `Content-Signal: search=yes, ai-input=yes, ai-train=no`.
- For other automated access, use this request process. Agents: stop and ask your human owner for permission first. Then request access with your owner's name and email. We email the owner to confirm before anything is approved.

## Requesting access programmatically

An agent whose owner has given permission can send the same request as the form, as one HTTPS call:

- The key above is a publishable key, public by design: it can only add a request, never read one.
- owner_consent must be true; a request without it is refused. Send it only when the owner has actually agreed.
- purpose is 10 to 1,000 characters: what the agent will do with the data.
- A 201 response means the request was received. It is not an approval.
- The owner receives a confirmation email before the request is reviewed. Approved agents receive access details by email; there is no public data API.
